XXXI Simposio Peruano de Fisica

The main objective of the XXXI Peruvian Physics Symposium, to be held this December 15-19, 2025 at the Faculty of Physical Sciences of UNMSM, is to stimulate cooperation between local researchers, students and international invited scientists, some of whom are Peruvians working abroad and are willing to contribute to the development of physics in Peru.

There will be keynote lectures and oral presentations. The topics will cover current research areas such as Astrophysics, Cosmology, High-Energy Physics, Materials Science, Environmental Science, and Applied Physics, among others. In addition, a roundtable discussion will be held on the current state and future of Physics in Peru.

The talks will be given in Spanish or English. The event will be in a HYBRID format.

MINI-COURSES:

POSTERS: Posters must be large-format prints with maximum dimensions of 1m x 1.5m. The header must include the event title (XXXI Peruvian Symposium on Physics 2025), the title of the paper, the name of the presenting author and co-authors, the institutional affiliation of the authors/co-authors, and the presenter's email address. The posters will be on permanent display during coffee breaks in the courtyard on the first floor of the Research and Postgraduate Institute of the Faculty of Physical Sciences at the National University of San Marcos.

El objetivo principal del XXXI Simposio Peruano de Fisica, a realizarse este 15-19 de diciembre de 2025 en la Facultad de Ciencias Fisicas de la UNMSM, es estimular la cooperación entre investigadores locales, estudiantes y científicos invitados internacionales, algunos de los cuales son peruanos que trabajan en el extranjero y están dispuestos a contribuir al desarrollo de la física en el Perú. 

Habrán charlas magistrales y presentaciones orales. Los temas abordarán áreas de investigación actuales como: Astrofísica, Cosmología, Física de Altas Energías, Ciencia de los Materiales, Ciencias Ambientales, Física Aplicada, entre otros. Además, se realizará una mesa redonda sobre la situacion y perspectiva de la Física en el Peru.

Las charlas se darán español o en inglés. El evento sera modalidad HIBRIDA.

POSTERS: Deben ser gigantografias de dimensiones maximas de 1m x 1.5m, en el que deben colocar en la cabecera el titulo del evento (XXXI Simposio Peruano de Fisica 2025), el titulo del trabajo, nombre del autor expositor y de los coautores, institucion de pertenencia de los autores/coautores, correo electronico del expositor. Las gigantografias de los posters estaran en exposicion permanente en las horas de los coffee breaks en el patio del primer piso del Insituto de Investigacion y Posgrado de la Facultad de Ciencias Fisicas de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos
