30th Anniversary of the Structural Laboratory
33rd Anniversary of Japan Peru Center for Earthquake Engineering Research and Disaster Mitigation – CISMID-FIC-UNI
NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING
On August 20th 1986 the Japan Peru Center for Earthquake Engineering and Disaster Mitigation started its researches and academic activities, with the opening of the Geotechnical Laboratory and the Administrative division on CISMID Campus. Later on August 22nd 1987 the facilities of the structural Laboratory started working under the cooperation and support of the Japanese Government through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) as Cooperation Project. Thirty years have passed and CISMID has been growing as a research center and we want to celebrate our 33th anniversary with this International Symposium, and also the 30th anniversary of the Structural Laboratory.
