DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Pablo Isidro Ayala de Santiago (Unidad Académica de
Física\, Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas)\nAn epidemic simulation of
Covid-19 virus was made\, it was done using cellular automatas wich have b
een used for epidemic studies since their creation in XX century. Under th
e current situation due to the Covid-19 virus there have been various esti
mates of the advance of the decease using a lot of methods\, however most
of them fail to calculate the total number of not-sick infected. Based on
that\, real data of some countries population and the respective fractions
of health\, sick and infected people of them was taken and using a Hodge-
Podge Machine (2D cellular automata used for chemistry reactions study) co
nsisting of a mesh where each cell represents a fraction of the studied po
pulation\, the searched simulation was made. This was made with the goal o
f finding a easy\, viable\, accesible and cheap method to estimate the tot
al number of infected people relative to the total population of a determi
 nated studied region.\n\nhttps://indico.uni.edu.pe/event/85/contributions/
