Description
The first exoplanet detections were made in 1992 when astronomers saw a pair of planets orbiting a pulsar. To date, there are more than 4,500 known exoplanets notable for their variety, the most of them around main sequence stars. The exoplanet types depend both on a planet’s size and its location within a stellar system. Apart from having found planets around stars in different evolutionary stages, planets were also discovered in binary or multiple stellar systems. In this talk I will present these configurations of planetary systems with focus on evolved stars.
