Description
Gravitoelectromagnetism (GEM) is an approach based on describing gravity in an analogous way to electromagnetism. Vector and tensor formalisms for GEM have been developed in the last years. We will review them by presenting their theoretical background, experimental motivation, and some applications. Recently, this approach has received relevant attention due in part to its analogy to the electromagnetic theory.
