Description

The pure spinor formalism has been shown to be extremely useful for quantizing superstrings and computing scattering amplitudes in a manifestly super-Poincaré covariant way. An 11D generalization gave rise to the pure spinor description of supermembranes whose massless spectrum reproduces 11D supergravity. In this talk, I will discuss how the infinite tension limit of the pure spinor supermembrane can be used for computing 11D supergravity scattering amplitudes in a manifestly supersymmetric way.
