Description
This paper describes the process of synthesis of the polycrystalline zeolitic imidazolate framework-67 (ZIF-67), in which it was performed by hand milling, followed by centrifugation under an ethanol solution and free of irradiation assisted. X-ray diffraction analysis shows that the ZIF-67 has a cubic crystalline structure centred with lattice parameter of 17.01 Å frame type generating hollow cavities at the unit cell level. Nitrogen adsorption analysis shows that the ZIF-67 has a microporous characteristic with a specific surface area of 1966.37 m2/g and effective pore size of 1.6 nm.
