The main purpose of this event is to stimulate cooperation between local researchers, students and international guest scientists, some of whom are Peruvians working abroad and willing to contribute to the development of physics in Peru. Due to the present global delicate situation, this year’s edition of the Meeting of Physics will be held in a hybrid mode. There will be online real-time presentations of keynote speakers, as well as talks on current research in the areas of theoretical, experimental, computational, applied and educational physics will be presented by local and international scientists. In addition, several MSc and PhD students will also present their investigations in electronic poster sessions. This year, new topics will be included in presentations involving interdisciplinary research . We will have talks in English, but also in Spanish.

El objetivo principal de este evento es estimular la cooperación entre los investigadores locales, estudiantes y científicos internacionales invitados, algunos de los cuales son peruanos trabajando en el exterior y dispuestos a contribuir al desarrollo de la Física en el Perú.
Debido a la delicada situación mundial actual, la edición de este año del Encuentro de Física se llevará a cabo en modo semi-presencial. Habrá en línea en tiempo real presentaciones de oradores principales, así como charlas sobre investigaciones actuales en áreas teóricas, experimentales, computacionales, aplicadas y educativas de la Física que serán presentadas por científicos locales e internacionales. Además, varios de los estudiantes de maestría y doctorado también presentarán sus investigaciones en sesiones de pósteres electrónicos.
Este año, se incluirá nuevos temas en presentaciones que involucren investigación interdisciplinar. Tendremos conferencias en español, pero también en Inglés.

    The general objective of the LA-CoNGA-Physics project is to bring the digital transition closer to eight Latin American institutions of higher education in the Andean region (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela) with the support of local and European partners. Thus, our main objective is to offer in 2021 an educational program within the Latin American Alliance in Advanced Physics for students from Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela.
    One of the tools will be to build a virtual learning platform in Advanced Physics in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela.

    Tratamiento de lesión pulmonar mediante tratamiento de radioterapia estereotáxica extracraneal en 4D guiada por Cone Beam CT: experiencia inicial 10m
    
    Here the treatment of external body radiation therapy (SBRT) was implemented for lung cancer treatments. Patient simulation was performed with a 4D tomographic scan for radiotherapy and the planning was done using the technique of volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT). The planning system was Monaco (Elekta). We perform a patient-specific quality control on an Octavius 4D phantom (PTW). The Infinity (Elekta) linear accelerator 4D was used to verify the positions. Measured dose shows a discrepancy of less than 5% of the value calculated by the planning system. To compare the dose distribution in the gamma analysis with 3% of doses and 3mm of DTA we found that 95% of analyzed points passed the gamma analysis test. We observed that in regions of inhomogeneity and lack of electronic equilibrium, the use of algorithms based on MC is ideal for precise calculation of dose distribution. Also the use of a 4D tomographic scan allows us to know the change in the position and the shape of the tumor. This allows the delivery of doses with a high degree of precision.

    Mixing analysis in a passive Y-junction micromixer using OpenFOAM 10m
    
    En el trabajo se desarrollan los parámetros teóricos para la simulación de mezcla de fluidos en micromezcladores pasivos. Haciendo uso del paquete computacional de código abierto OpenFOAM, se configuran los esquemas para recrear la física de la mezcla. De esta manera, inyectando distintas velocidades en las entradas (0.025 mm/s, 0.050mm/s, 0.075mm/s) se estudia la mezcla en los canales. Haciendo uso del procesamiento de imágenes, se obtiene como resultados que en un micromezclador pasivo sin obstáculos, el flujo es laminar hasta su salida y la mayor interacción en la mezcla es debido a la difusión entre los fluidos, por ello se tiene una línea delgada que se va ensanchando en la interfaz entre los fluidos.

    Synthesis of NaYF4: Yb, Er upconversion nanoparticles and their application to in vivo imaging in bacteria as a first step for a future biomarker
    
    Upconversion nanoparticles (UCNP) NaYF4: Yb, Er can emit bright green fluorescence under near-infrared light (NIR) excitation. The application of UCNP as imaging biomarkers has recently received a great deal of attention in recent years. In this work, NaYF4 nanoparticles doped with Yb+3 and Er+3 ions have been synthesized at the National University of Engineering (UNI) in the Physics and Condensed Matter Laboratory (LFMC) using the solvothermal method. The prepared UCNPs were introduced into bacteria, already having them in a culture for their subsequent digestion, characteristics to achieve successful in vivo images. Our work demonstrates the potential application of UCNPs in the study of the biological behavior of organisms and lays the foundation for the further development of UCNPs in disease detection and diagnosis.This may be the first step to start the applications of Biomarkers in Peru.

    Aplicaciones del GeoGebra en la enseñanza del Movimiento Proyectiles 20m
    
    La enseñanza de la Física para los estudiantes de Ciencia e Ingeniería, es un tópico que resulta primordial, debido a que en nuestro país la formación científica es deficiente, muy probablemente por la didáctica empleada en las aulas o la forma en cómo se divulgan los conocimientos científicos, por lo que es primordial para generar escenarios adecuados que se optimicen la interiorización de cada uno de los temas que son propios del área, mediante la utilización de recursos innovadores para los estudiantes como los son los que brinda la tecnología. El presente trabajo de investigación, busca la innovación, como una herramienta que juega un rol fundamental para el logro de las competencias utilizando el software GeoGebra como una herramienta para graficar fenómenos físicos de movimiento compuesto y proyectiles en el plano 2D y crear una nueva didáctica del GeoGebra para sus aplicaciones en los eventos físicos. El método del trabajo de investigación es cualitativo experimental, en donde se han desarrollado diversas simulaciones en un software libre llamado GeoGebra. Se obtuvieron una correcta simulación del Movimiento proyectiles mediante el ejemplo del lanzamiento de proyectiles.

    Autonomous Lab-on-a-chip (LOC) 1h
    
    Autonomous Lab-on-a-chip (LOC) devices integrate and concentrate, in a small
    volume, microfluidic preparation, calibration and readout procedures otherwise
    performed at standard laboratories. LOC fabrication procedures usually requires spetialized equipment and facilities.
    Cell phones are the most widely used computer-capable sensors-integrated devices, and could analyze liquid samples if coupled with a LOC device.
    This study shows solutions for Autonomous-LOC development, including the use of low-cost 3D printers as fast LOC prototyping platforms and phone-LOC coupling for optic readout without accessories beyond the LOC.

    An atomistic study on thermal transport in B-C-N graphitic systems and heterojunctions: Influence of concentration and temperature. 30m
    
    Over the last years, two-dimensional graphitic materials composed of B-C-N have attracted remarkable interest because these systems offer a new and broad field to explore and develop nanoscale devices with tunable properties. In this scenario, the thermal conductivity, the temperature profile, the Kapitza resistance and the thermal rectification become the measurable physical quantities that characterize the thermal transport. In the present work, we investigate the influence of C concentration (10-90%) and temperature dependence (100-700 K) in B-C-N graphitic systems. For this, non-equilibrium molecular dynamic simulations were carried out using the LAMMPS code. The results show that thermal conductivity is strongly influenced by C concentration and temperature in B-C-N systems. On the contrary, there is no clear difference in the temperature profile by varying the C concentration. On the other hand, in other graphitic systems, such as graphene heterojunctions, at 100 K, thermal rectification takes its maximum value of 78%, 13% and 50% for interfaces made of hBN, hSiC and Graphane, respectively. Also, Kapitza resistance decreases when the temperature increases up to 700 K. The opposite occurs for thermal conductivity, which shows a value of 100, 50 and 50 W/m-K for the hBN, hSiC and Graphane interfaces at 700 K, respectively.

    Thin films of transition metal dichalcogenides for energy storage applications: an ab initio many body perturbation approach 30m
    
    Transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) comprise a class of layered materials highly attractive for optoelectronics due to their scalability and thickness-dependent electrical and optical properties. While significant attention has been given to single layer TMDCs, a rather limited number of works have accurately addressed the optoelectronic properties of the few-layer case. In this work, we study the electronic and optical properties of bulk 2H group–VIB TMDCs with general formula MX$_{2}$, where M is Mo or W, and X is S or Se. We employ state-of-the-art many-body perturbation theory (MBPT) framework to compute the quasiparticle properties and optical absorption spectra including the electron–hole interaction. The obtained fundamental band gaps are indirect, as expected for bulk TMDCs, in excellent agreement with experimental electronic band gaps. The BSE optical absorption spectra describe quite accurately all the main features verified in the experimental data, with exciton peaks well-described for all the analysed TMDs. Finally, we estimate the theoretical photovoltaic performance of the group–VIB TMDCs calculating the short-circuit current, open-circuit voltage and power conversion efficiency within the spectroscopic limited maximum efficiency (SLME) framework. Those values can be used as upper limits for the power conversion efficiency of TMDCs thin films.

    Optical bandwidth estimate of graphene oxides and multilayers of reduced graphene oxides 30m
    
    In this paper we propose the study of the bandwidth in the multilayers of Graphene oxide (MGO) and thermally reduced graphene oxide (RMGO). The Raman spectroscopy technique (laser with an excitation wavelength of 532 nm) was used to determine the intensities of the D and G bands, in these spectra, with these the mean distance between defects (La) on the surface of multilayers, so we finally determine the optical bandwidth. The results show that the bandwidth is more stable to the variation of the laser power density, in addition, it decreases due to the thermal reduction. This fact provides a basis for estimating the optical bandwidth in Graphene Oxide and Reduced Graphene Oxide Multilayers.

    Silica embedded Gold nanospheres (Au@SiO2) for photothermal annihilation of breast cancer cells: advantages over chemotherapy. 45m
    
    Chemotherapy is the gold standard neoadjuvant treatment in breast cancer tumours. Nevertheless, the non-specific cytotoxicity associated to this treatment causes severe side effects, affecting the quality of life of patients.
    The plasmonic photothermal therapy (PPTT) consists of localized heating induced by metallic nanoparticles irradiated remotely to kill cancer cells.
    In this talk, silica-embedded Gold nanospheres (Au@SiO2) synthetized as nanotheaters for PPTT will be presetend. Additionally, the advantages of the TPFT in comparison with conventional chemotherapy schemes for the treatment of cancer
    breast will be discussed.

    Método Alternativo para la obtención de tomogramas de árboles utilizando sensores piezoeléctricos 30m
    
    El presente proyecto plantea un método alternativo para obtener tomogramas de árboles in situ. El método alternativo intenta reemplazar a los costosos equipos utilizados en la actualidad. En su lugar, se realizará un trabajo adicional de mano de obra que es simular el funcionamiento de rayos en forma de abanico. El método consiste en utilizar sensores piezoeléctricos con un temporizador de microsegundos. Se colocarán los sensores piezoeléctricos en 2 puntos en el perímetro del árbol, y se procede a generar una vibración con origen en uno de los sensores, y con el temporizador, se calcula el tiempo en el cual la vibración llega al otro sensor. Con dichos tiempos, se genera una matriz de tiempos que serán utilizados para generar el tomograma mediante el algoritmo de retroproyección filtrada e interpolación por spline cúbicos.

    Numerical simulation of chiral magnetic phases in bidimensional lattices 15m
    
    We model a bidimensional magnetic material with the classical Heisenberg Model of Ferromagnetism with the Dzyalonshiinski-Moriya interaction and add geometric frustration in the form of triangular and honeycomb lattices. Using the metropolis algorithm, we probe the chiral magnetic phases emergent in these configurations in the B-T phase space and D-J phase space, measuring parameters like skyrmion number and static spin structure factor.

    Structural properties and thermal stability of Ni-Cu and Ni-Al core-shell spherical nanoparticles 15m
    
    Understanding of thermodynamic behaviors and stability of bimetallic core-shell nanoparticles (CSNPs) is of significance for their wide range of applications such as catalysis, optic, biomedicine, and energy storage. Here we systematically investigate thermodynamic and structural properties of Ni@Cu, Cu@Ni, Ni@Al and Al@Ni core-shell nanoparticles by using molecular dynamics simulations with embedded atom model (EAM). The spherical CSNPs model system with diameter close to 6 nm were prepared with different shell thickness. The heating and fusion process was analyzed by calculating the potential energy, radial distribution function, Lindemann index and polyhedral template matching tool. In addition, to analyze the thermal stability of the CSNPs, the annealing process is carried out at different temperatures and the mean square displacement is calculated as well as the diffusion coefficient for each component. The results of the simulation show that unlike the case of Cu-Ni, where the typical behavior of the heating curve is observed, in the Ni-Al system the potential energy with temperature presents a peculiar behavior that depends on the relationship of the thickness of the layers as well as the rate of heating. The analyzed CSNPs keep their core-shell arrangement up to annealing temperatures of the order of 800K

    Interpretación de la energía coherente en Termodinámica cuántica 15m
    
    En este póster se interpreta el término de energía coherente que aparece cuando se formula la primera ley de la termodinámica en el dominio cuántico. Esta ley explica que el cambio de energía interna de un sistema cuántico en un proceso finito se debe a 3 términos, a saber, trabajo, calor y energía coherente. Se interpreta las 3 contribuciones y se aplica para un proceso de emisión espontánea mostrando los resultados en gráficas.

    Aplicación de ZIF-8 en la Adsorción de Elementos presentes en Relaves Mineros 15m
    
    El estudio de las zeolitas ha despertado un creciente interés por sus propiedades físicas y químicas que son utilizadas en la refinación de hidrocarburos en la industria del petróleo, así como en la remoción de metales pesados en la industria minera. El presente trabajo se centró en la evaluación de la capacidad de adsorción del ZIF-8 en cationes de Zn, Mn, Mg y otros metales presentes en aguas de relaves mineros. Se realizó la técnica de ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma ) en una solución filtrada por ZIF-8 sintetizado obteniéndose valores de adsorción de entre 33.88% (para el boro) hasta 98.88% (para el arsénico), siendo estos resultados comparados por otros dos métodos.

    Estimación de la magnitud sísmica mediante el contenido energético de la señal para la estación sísmica de Ñaña durante el periodo 2011-2021 15m
    
    Esta investigación tuvo como propósito definir una ecuación empírica de magnitud mediante el modelo estadístico de regresión lineal múltiple. Se utilizaron datos de diversos eventos sísmicos ocurridos entre los años 2011 y 2021, tales como magnitud sísmica, profundidad focal, distancia epicentral y contenido energético de la señal. Los valores de magnitud sísmica y profundidad focal fueron obtenidos de un catálogo del National Earthquake Information Center (NEIC). El contenido energético de la señal fue calculado a partir de las señales sísmicas registradas en la estación de Ñaña (Lima, Perú), brindadas por Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology (IRIS). La distancia epicentral fue calculada a partir de la fórmula de Haversine, donde se utilizaron las coordenadas geográficas de los epicentros y la estación de Ñaña. El programa empleado para el cálculo de los parámetros buscados en este método fue MATLAB. Los resultados de magnitud predichos por el modelo fueron comparados con los valores de magnitud teóricos (NEIC) a partir de las diferencias entre sus valores. Se encontraron diferencias máximas de 0.3 entre ellos, concluyéndose que este método genera valores de magnitud aceptables.

    Diseño practico de materiales de baterías y para otras aplicaciones en energías renovables usando principios de física de superficies 45m
    
    La Ciencia de Materiales ha tenido mucho progreso hasta la fecha usando métodos empíricos. Sin embargo, la posibilidad de predecir las propiedades físicas, solamente a partir del conocimiento de la estructura cristalina y usando métodos de Mecánica Cuántica computacionales, está avanzando a un paso acelerado. En esta presentación mostramos algunos ejemplos de aplicación de esta filosofía para el desarrollo de materiales de baterías. Usando una combinación de Teoría de Funcionales de Densidad (DFT) con una gran variedad de mediciones de propiedades, incluyendo espectroscopía de absorción de rayos x suaves (sXAS) en el Sincrotrón Australiano, pudimos entender que las superficies de las partículas de material de batería se diferencian en estructura con respecto al interior de las partículas. Esto nos sugirió que las capas superficiales se pueden aproximar como capas defectuosas que crean niveles de energía dentro de la brecha de bandas de energía del material original. Con esta aproximación la importancia de la “Función de Trabajo” (Work Function) salió a resaltar junto con efectos de juntura entre el interior del material y las capas superficiales, resultando en beneficios para las propiedades.

    The Alcubierre metric and the superluminal interstellar travels in general relativity 20m
    
    In Minkowski spacetime, the maximum speed at which all information can travel is the speed of light. For an arbitrary spacetime, this also holds locally. On the other hand, it is known that the Hubble-Lemaitre law and cosmic inflation admit, for two comoving observers, relative superluminal separation velocities.
    
    In 1994, Alcubierre proposed a mechanism that would allow, in principle, superluminal interstellar travel. Said mechanism consists of the impulse of a spaceship in continuous rest, and locally immersed in a Minkowski space-time. In its neighborhood, at a certain distance from it (to avoid being disturbed by huge tidal forces), behind and in front of the spaceship, locally space-time would expand and contract, respectively. Because of this, relative to an observer far away in the neighborhood of the spaceship, the spaceship would be moving arbitrarily faster than the speed of light. However, the spaceship would at all times describe time-like curves, and thus causality would not be violated.
    
    This mechanism is known as Warp Drive, and is described by the Alcubierre metric. This metric describes a globally hyperbolic spacetime and is expressed in the 3+1 formalism.

    Un acercamiento a la holografía a través del agujero negro BTZ 20m
    
    El presente trabajo tiene como propósito comprender el principio holográfico en la
    correspondencia AdS/CFT, en el marco de Relatividad General (RG) en (2+1)-dimensiones a
    través del agujero negro BTZ. Para lograr ello, se discute las propiedades y características de
    RG en (2+1)-dimensiones, específicamente el caso de espacios localmente AdS_{3} , mostrando
    que una solución de espacio localmente AdS_{3} es una solución de agujero negro BTZ (anBTZ), el
    cual es caracterizado por 2 constantes, M y J. También, al utilizar el enfoque seguido por Brown y York, se define un Tensor Energía-Momento cuasilocal en la frontera del espacio-tiempo del anBTZ, lo cual permite definir cantidades inherentes al agujero negro BTZ; por ejemplo, la masa y el momento angular que a su vez se identifican con las constantes M y J del agujero negro. De este modo, se concluye que, a pesar de que el agujero negro está en el bulk del espacio-tiempo, su información de algún modo se codifica en la frontera de dicho espacio-tiempo lo que es una manifestación del principio holográfico.

    Black hole stability under odd-parity perturbations in Horndeski gravity 20m
    
    In this poster we will show the process to find the stability conditions of a spherically symmetric static black hole in the most general scalar-tensor theory in four dimensions, that is, the Horndeski theory of gravity. After calculating the second order action and derive the master equation, we impose the conditions to avoid ghosts and Laplacian instability. Finally we use the stability conditions to recover the result of the famous paper by Regge and Wheeler on the stability of the Schwarzschild black hole.

    Introducción a la Teoría Cuántica de Campos 10m
    
    Uno de los fenómenos más comunes que observamos es la luz. Este fenómeno, aparentemente sencillo, involucra detrás de esta procesos cuánticos en donde el número de partículas varia. La teoría que explica satisfactoriamente este tipo de procesos se denomina "Teoría Cuántica de Campos" y que, hasta donde se conoce, predice en diversas situaciones las observaciones experimentales. En este trabajo se introduce brevemente algunos tópicos concernientes a esta tales como la relatividad especial, la segunda cuantización y, por supuesto, la teoría clásica de campos previo a dar un paso dentro de la teoría cuántica de campos.

En ese ambiente aparecieron oscilaciones, conocidas como oscilaciones acústicas, que dejaron huellas que hoy pueden ser observadas y medidas usando Radiación Cósmica de Fondo y Estructuras em Grande Escala. En este seminario discutiremos el origen y las características obervacionales de estas oscilaciones acústicas.

    Phase transition in hybrid star 10m
    
    We investigate the effects of both the phase transition and a smoother fluid in hybrid stars’ envelopes on the static spherically symmetric configurations. For this purpose, we assume that the fluid in the core and in the envelope follows the MIT-bag-model-equation of state and the polytropic equation of state, respectively. We find the phase transition and a smoother fluid matter on the star's envelope affect the total mass and star radius.

    Odd-parity perturbations in the most general scalar-vector-tensor theory 10m
    
    In the context of the most general scalar-vector-tensor theory, we study the stability of static spherically symmetric black holes under linear odd-parity perturbations. We calculate the action to second order in the linear perturbations to derive a master equation for these perturbations. For this general class of models, we obtain the conditions of no-ghost and Laplacian instability. Then, we study in detail the generalized ReggeWheeler potential of particular cases to find their stability conditions.

    Solución numérica de agujero negro en gravedad de Einstein-dilatón-Gauss-Bonnet 10m
    
    Se halló una solución numérica de agujero negro estático y esféricamente simétrico según la teoría de gravitación de Einstein-dilatón-Gauss-Bonnet, siguiendo el desarrollo propuesto por Kanti y otros. En esta teoría, se considera una acción que contiene términos cuadráticos de la curvatura, acoplados a un campo escalar dilatón sin masa. Para hallar la solución, se planteó el problema como un sistema de ecuaciones diferenciales, las cuales fueron resueltas de forma numérica con la ayuda del sistema computacional Sagemath. Se obtuvieron gráficas para el campo dilatón y las componentes de la métrica, verificando que la solución tiende a ser asintóticamente plana.

    Oscilación de Neutrinos mediante violación del Principio de Equivalencia 15m
    
    Desde la elegante propuesta de una nueva forma de representar los neutrinos por Pontecorvo (1957) y Maki, Nakagawa, Sakata (1962) como combinaciones lineales de nuevos estados propios de masa, se ha convertido en un gran desafío no solo comprender cómo funciona este proceso en la naturaleza sino también el medir las tasas de combinación y detectar directa o indirectamente los neutrinos. Esta tesis está enfocada a explicar el mecanismo de oscilaciones de neutrinos por métodos fuera de los usuales, esta vez proponiendo la violación del fundamental Principio de Equivalencia ya que si se viola el principio de equivalencia y la gravedad no está acoplada universalmente a todos los sabores leptónicos, un campo gravitatorio podría contribuir a las oscilaciones de los neutrinos sin la necesidad de considerar la masa de éstos.

    Exploring b-jet properties in Pb+Pb collisions with the ATLAS experiment at the LHC 10m
    
    A few instants after the Big Bang, the universe consisted of a hot soup of elementary particles called quarks and gluons. Immediately after, these particles began cooling to form protons and neutrons, the building blocks of matter. In order to recreate that soup, it is needed to collide nuclei of atoms. One of these attempts is the collision of heavy ions Pb+Pb at LHC that creates a bunch of particles that form jets. These jets are excellent probes of QGP because they provide a tomographic image of the QGP created in these collisions. We prepared a toy event display showing b-Jets in Pb+Pb collisions with a √SNN=5.02 TeV Pb+Pb collisions in the ATLAS detector. For that we used Monte Carlo simulation data generated by GEANT4 and Pythia 8.2. We identified and plotted the decay tracks of about 60 different types of particles and antiparticles corresponding to b-hadron, c-hadron particles and their respective children. We plotted b-jets cones and classified chains of b- and c-hadron decay vertices. The most common decay vertices were 1->1, 1->2, 2->2, 2->3 and 2->4, accounting for around 99% of cases. Secondary interactions with the detector material were also found, but were very rare.

    Perovskite-type materials present different properties and applications in the field of technology such as solar cells,batteries and among others [1-2]. The organic perovskite of Methylammonium Lead Iodide (CH3NH3PbI3), also called MAPbI3, has been studied in this research to determine its bandgap by density of states (DOS) and band structure (BS) using the Quantum Espresso program.

    Caracterización de tres centelladores de 1.5”x1.5”, 2”x2” y 3”x3” para la puesta a punto de una cadena para espectroscopia gamma 15m
    
    Los detectores de radiación gamma que usan centelladores, siguen teniendo una gran relevancia en varios campos como es el estudio de las radiaciones en la física nuclear, en las medidas de radiación medioambiental, en la protección radiológica y en la industria. El grupo de investigación INFISA adscrito a la FCF de la UNMSM, que está ubicado en el Instituto de Investigación de Física, cuenta con tres centelladores sólidos inorgánicos de yoduro de sodio dopado con talio NaI(Tl) de tamaño de cristal de 1.5”x1.5” (REXON), 2”x2” (TELEDYNE) y 3”x3” (BICRON). En el presente trabajo presentamos los resultados de la comparación, mostrando las curvas tanto en eficiencia como en resolución al caracterizar los tres centelladores para la puesta a punto de la cadena de detección para su uso en espectroscopia gamma.

    Influence of the isotropic prompt neutron emission on the average prompt neutron multiplicity and the total kinetic energy distribution as a function of fragment mass measured by the 2E technique for 235U(nth, f) 15m
    
    In previous work, the measurement by the 2E technique of the average prompt neutron multiplicity as a function of the mass of the fragments from 235U(nth, f), under the hypothesis that the fragments lose kinetic energy only due to the drop of mass by neutron emission without recoil effect on the emitter fragment, was simulated. In the present work, recoil is added to the simulation algorithm. As far as the average prompt neutron multiplicity is concerned, the results of the present simulation are similar with the previous work results. However, some noticeable differences appear in the distributions of the yield, the total kinetic energy, and the standard deviations of the distribution of the total kinetic energy.
