Description
In theories of quantum gravity it is challenging to define notions of quantum entanglement between different regions of space. We will argue that a precise notion is, however, possible in gravitational theories which are holographically dual to usual quantum field theories in some fixed background living in lower number of dimensions. This is provided by the notion of "target space entanglement". This talk will discuss the basic aspects of this notion and a conjecture about the entanglement entropy in the bulk.
